Every Wednesday afternoon, plus August Bank Holiday Saturday, I'm storytelling (plus colouring and story making, of course) at East Somerset Railway in Cranmore https://eastsomersetrailway.com/events/view/summertime-storytelling-with-beth-webb
It's suitable for families, but I tell stories to the youngest children first, let them wriggle away if they want to, then I tell stories for the older kids.
I've even got colouring for the grown ups (everyone loves colouring in a steam engine!!!)
I’ll be storytelling at Castell Coch, near Cardiff over Easter, (Friday March 29th - Monday April 1st). I’ll be telling tales from the Mabinogion and exploring the rich treasury of Welsh fairy tales and dragon legends. It’ll be great fun, suitable for the whole family!
My sets are at 11am, 12, 1pm and 2 pm, and there’s be a wide variety of tales, each set lasts about 30-45 minutes, but you can listen to just one story and move on, or stay for the whole show.
It’ll be lovely to see you.
Entry includes coming to see me! https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/places-to-visit/castell-coch#prices
There's an ancient tale, 'The Loathly Lady,' which explores this vital question.
Is the answer a top job? Riches? A faithful man, or something much, much more important?
Author and storyteller Beth Webb unpicks this mischievous tale to come up with a fascinating answer.

I’ll be telling Dragon stories (what else?) at this brilliant Arts Festival in the Cotswolds.
Author Beth Webb will give an illustrated talk and a mini workshop on how to turn historical events into engaging stories. The workshop will give participants the chance to have a go at creating their own ‘faction’ outlines. All are welcome, no writing experience necessary (not suitable for children).
Beth has had fifteen books published for all ages, including the Star Dancer tetralogy, an adult / YA historical fantasy series, as well as the children’s classics, the ‘Fleabag’ trilogy. She is a published poet and an illustrator.
